This course gets into how to model and control power electronics circuits. We use small-signal analysis to model and apply controls to power converters, focusing on dc-dc converters. Basic knowledge of power electronics (e.g. Introduction to Power Electronics) and basic control theory is recommended before taking this course.

Prof. Kim

Prof. Katherine A. Kim is a Professor at National Taiwan University. From 2014-2018, she was an Assistant Professor at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, South Korea. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA, in 2014.
